What are the main differences between ERW and LSAW pipes?

ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipes are made by cold-forming a steel coil into a cylindrical shape, while LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) pipes are made by forming steel plates. LSAW is typically used for larger diameters (over 16") and thicker walls, offering higher integrity for high-pressure energy transmission.

Does Hebei Cangtie provide API 5L certification?

Yes, all our high-standard pipeline products are API 5L certified (Grades B up to X80). We also comply with ASTM A53, A106, EN 10217, and ISO 9001 quality management systems to ensure global project compatibility.

What anti-corrosion coatings do you offer?

We provide a wide range of protective coatings including 3PE (Triple-Layer Polyethylene), FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy), internal liquid epoxy, and hot-dip galvanization. We also offer custom bitumen or varnish coatings based on project requirements.

How long is the typical lead time for international orders?

Standard sizes in stock can be dispatched within 7-10 days. Custom manufacturing orders typically take 25-40 days depending on the volume and technical complexity. We provide 24/7 logistics support to coordinate with your shipping schedules.

Can you produce pipes based on custom drawings?

Absolutely. Our technical engineering team specializes in CSL (Cross-hole Sonic Logging) tubes and specialized structural pipes built to precise client blueprints and non-standard sizing requirements.
