A: Pre-galvanized tubes are made from steel strips that are galvanized at the steel mill before being formed and welded into pipes. This results in a smoother, thinner, and highly cost-effective zinc layer (typically 40g/m² to 275g/m²). Hot-dipped galvanized pipes are immersed in molten zinc after the pipe is formed, resulting in a much thicker, rougher zinc layer (typically 400g/m² to 550g/m²) designed for heavier pressure and fluid carrying duties.
A: Since high-frequency welding burns away the zinc along the longitudinal weld seam, we use an automated online zinc thermal spraying system. While the weld bead is still hot, high-purity molten zinc is sprayed along the seam to completely patch and seal the exposed carbon steel, ensuring continuous, seamless rust resistance.
A: For standard commercial multi-span greenhouses, a wall thickness of 1.5mm to 2.0mm is highly recommended to withstand local wind and snow loads. For smaller polytunnels or secondary purlins, 1.2mm offers a highly economical alternative.
A: Square tubes offer flat, parallel surfaces, making them much easier to drill, connect with self-tapping screws, or join with modular bracket clamps compared to round pipes. This square hollow section design provides excellent structural resistance to bending and twisting forces, reducing overall installation time and cost.
